About This Project

My husband and I have driven across the Idaho and Wyoming deserts multiple times in the spring.  I am always struck by the rich variety of textures (rocks, grasses, wildflowers, trees) and colors (greens, golds, browns, lavender) present in this desert landscape.  This vessel is an attempt to capture the subtle but rich feel of those environments.   18.5 x 9.5 x 6.5″
